INCENTIVE
TRAVEL
IN BRAZIL
Rio & Salvador | Notes | Personalization | Hotels

The incentive travel trade began to take a close look at Brazil when most inquiries about possible destinations showed that a great amount of people were interested in visiting this country. It meant to them "adventure and fun".
In fact, it is very interesting to notice that as the incentive groups kept coming, they originated several different nationalities and media spenditures.
Once in Rio de Janeiro for a site inspection, sponsors and organizers were always surprised as besides the famous sights such as the Sugar Loaf and Corcovado, they would find top hotels where groups of any sizes would have every comfort, superb meals and unforgettable galas and parties.
After a while, incentive groups started going to places such as Manaus - where they could have boat trips into the Amazon Rainforest, Foz do Iguaçu - to see the amazing and impressive Iguaçu Falls, or Salvador - where most of the colonial architecture of Brazil is found.
Itineraries would depend on the length of stay and of course, budgets, but the general opinion was always that it had been a good deal with excellent value for a great response of the participants.
Below, we see a few examples of itineraries and activities that might give a hint of how easy it is to sell Brazil as an incentive destination, whatever the size of group may be.
