Time: There is a 3 -hour difference from GMT, and time is read on a 24-hour basis. Banking: Banks are open Mondays through Fridays from 10:00 AM to 04:00 PM. Mail: National and international postal services are operated by the National Post Office (Encotel). Post offices are open Mondays through Saturdays, from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Telephones: There are telephone booths throughout the city and its suburbs, as well as in the telecommunication company's main office and branches. Tips: It is usual to leave 10% of the total bill for waiters in restaurants. It is also common to tip porters at airports and hotels.
Shopping: Shops are generally opened Mondays through Fridays, from 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM and Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Argentina is renowned for its quality leather goods and stones, as well as for women's apparel. Tourists have a large choice of typical Argentine souvenirs. Most stores accept credit cards.

It is full of pleasant surprises for visitors. The cosmopolitan nature of Buenos Aires is reflected in the different expressions used and fashions worn. Different are also the architectural styles of buildings and various districts. The city is one of the major cultural centers of Latin America, famous for its museums, art galleries and conference halls. Known as the Paris of South America, only Paris outranks it as the world capital with greatest number of theaters. The night-life of Buenos Aires offers many options among night-clubs, shows, cinemas, restaurants and cafés.

On the way we will see Plaza de Mayo and the buildings that surround it: Casa Rosada (Presidential Palace), Cabildo (old City Hall), the City Hall. We will also visit the picturesque La Boca district, that resembles a typical Italian neighborhood, Palermo parks and the historical Recoleta cemetery with its ornate memorials.
FIESTA GAUCHA

This magnificent and unique tour allows tourists to admire the traditional dances and enjoy the songs and meals of the Argentinean Gaucho. A true Gaucho Festival. The party is held at a beautiful country residence in an old ranch situated in the outskirts of Buenos Aires.
TIGRE & PARANÁ RIVER DELTA
Daily at 2:00 PM. Approximate duration: 4 hours.
A scenic drive along the northern residential districts of the city and its outskirts to get to Tigre district, a charming resort near Buenos Aires. Here great number of summer residences, yacht clubs and rowing clubs are found. We will enjoy a sail along the innumerable channels and canals before returning to town.
DINNER WITH TANGO SHOW
Daily at 8:30 PM. Approximate duration: 5 hours.
Transportation from your hotel to a typical restaurant, where you will be served Argentine specialties. Later visit to a luxurious night-club where you can enjoy a typical tango show, including one drink.
NIGHT AT LA BOCA DISTRICT
Daily at 8:30 PM. Approximate duration: 3 1/2 hours.
Transportation from your hotel to the city Southern district. Dinner at an attractive "cantina" with singing waiters, who sing Argentine, Italian, American, French and Brazilian songs. Dinner and Argentine wines are included.
CIRCUITO CHICO & PANORAMIC VIEW (Small Circuit)

Half day tour visiting Virgen de Las Nieves or Pisiculture, Campanario Hill, El Trebol Lake, Punto Panoramico (Panoramic look-out point), Lopez Bay, Llao Llao. Return to the Hotel.
VICTORIA ISLAND AND ARRAYANES FOREST

Full day lake excursion. Departure from hotel along Nahuel Huapi Lake until Puerto Pañuelo. Arrival and board the vessel to Peninsula Quetrihue. Visit the Arrayanes woods. Departure on motor boat to Victoria Island. Lunch. Return to Bariloche in the afternoon.
CATHEDRAL MOUNTAIN

Magnificent tour to the very center of the winter sports area, visiting the ski slopes and afterwards riding up in the cable car up to Piedra del Condor from where you can enjoy a magnificent view of the majestic lakes, Nahuel Huapi, Moreno and Gutierrez.
PUERTO BLEST AND LAGUNA FRIAS
Daily. Approximate duration: 8 hours.
Transfer to Puerto Pañuelo, then by motor launch to Puerto Blest. Visit to Los Cantaros Falls. Lunch included. Overland transfer to Puerto Alegre, and by motor boat to Puerto Frías. Return to Hotel in the late afternoon.
ANDINE CROSSING TOUR
2-night excursion with half-board / Bariloche to Puerto Varas.Day 01 - Bariloche: Transfer to Puerto Pañuelo and departure by boat along Nahuel Huapi Lake up to Blest Port. Lunch. Continue on to Laguna Frias by overland transfer. Customs and continue on to Peulla, after crossing the Chilean border. Arrival and accommodation at Hotel Peulla. Dinner.
Day 02 - Peulla: Transfer to the pier and departure by boat to Petrohue, cruising up the Todos Los Santos Lake. Arrival and lunch. continue on by bus to Puerto Varas (or Puerto Montt). Arrival and accommodation. Dinner.
